The program is intensive and full-time: it lasts 6 days and 5 nights, with activities throughout the day. The cost includes: lunches, transport, and experiences.
We recommend that participants free up their schedule and fully dedicate themselves to the program to get the most out of the experience. The detailed program will be shared before the start, as each edition includes different activities.

The Boot Camp is conducted in English. Participants come from all over the world, and we are aware that language proficiency levels may vary.
To actively participate in the discussions, a basic knowledge of the program’s language is required.
Sessions are primarily held at the Paideia Campus, located at the historic Castle of the Capano Princes, Via Matteo Mazziotti, 84068 Pollica (SA). Visits to places of interest in the area are also planned.
The nearest airport is Naples-Capodichino.
By car: Set your GPS to Pollica and park in one of the public areas at the edge of the town. By train: We recommend arriving at the Vallo della Lucania-Castelnuovo station. Future Food Institute will arrange transportation from the station to Pollica (and vice versa at the end of the program).
By plane: From the airport, there is a shuttle to the Naples Central Station. You can purchase the shuttle ticket along with the train ticket on the Italian railway website, entering Naples Capodichino Airport as the departure station and Vallo della Lucania-Castelnuovo as the destination.After being admitted to the program, we will contact you to collect information about your travel plans and assist you in organizing your transportation.
Pollica is a small town that is easily explored on foot. Transportation will be provided and organized by Future Food for any travel outside of the Paideia Campus.
Participants will stay in local B&Bs in Pollica. Shared room accommodation is included in the participation fee.
If you prefer a single room, it can be arranged for an additional charge. We will ask for your preferences once you are accepted into the program.
Food is a fundamental part of the educational journey. All meals are included and designed to support the learning experience.
Participants will also have hands-on experience, preparing some meals during the program.
After being admitted, we will ask for information regarding any dietary preferences, allergies, or intolerances.
In Pollica, there is a small supermarket, a pharmacy, a restaurant, and a bar. However, we recommend bringing everything you might need as the options in the town are limited.
